Craps Horn High Yo Payout
Posted : admin On 4/6/2022The odds are exactly the same as the Yo or Ace-Deuce bet. There is a 1 in 36 chance of rolling a 2 and the same chance of rolling a 12. Getting either one of them would mean a 2 in 36 chance with actual odds of 17:1. The house pays out 15:1 money, which leaves a fairly large 11.11% house edge.
- Essentially, this bet includes snake eyes, boxcars, yo and ace-deuce. The actual odds of winning the horn bet are 5:1. The payout odds are a little more complicated though. Typically, the house pays 27:4 if the shooter rolls a 2 or 12, and the house pays 3:1 odds if a 3 or 11 is rolled.
- Horn High and World Bets Horn high and world bets are for $5 increments. When you bet a horn high 12, $2 is on the number 12 and $1 is on 2, 3 and 11. You have to call out 'Horn High' and choose where that extra dollar goes (2, 3, 11 or 12).
- Your wager is divided into quarters, so if you make this long-shot bet it’s a good idea to put money down in multiples of four or request a horn high and indicate on which of the four you want the extra money: “Horn high 12!” Whirl is a horn bet with the 7 added. The bet is divided into five parts. C&E is craps plus 11.
- With a Horn wager, you are betting that a 2, 3, 11, or 12 will show up on the next roll. The payouts for a winning Horn wager vary depending on the number the dice sum up to. For example, if you place a $5 chip on the table and say “Horn high boxcar”, you are wagering 4 $1 bets on 2, 3, 11, and 12, with the extra $1 being placed on a 12.
